i have a 99 4runner limited 4x4, i have the air lift 1000 air bags in the rear coils for help when im towing my 4wheeler. and i wanted to purchase the performance products lift springs with the bilstein shocks, i was wondering if there was going to be a problem with the air bags being to small or just not working with a lift. has anyone used the air bags with a lift before? thanks in advance for your help.

I have the Airlift 1000's installed on my 97 runner, no lift YET...but I did install Airlift 1000's and the 2.5" spacers on my buddy's 98 runner.
The only issue encountered on my buddy's runner was the airline disconnecting from the bag at full suspension droop. Gave the airline a little more slack, and the problem was solved.
Since the airbag sits in the coil, and the spacer is above the coil, you shouldn't encounter any interference (be sure to run the air line through the center of the spacer.

It's the Daystar kit...funny though, I only see a 1.5" Daystar kit on PerfProd...looks like Revtek is the only one on their site offering a fr and rr 2.6" kit.
I've had the Airlift 1000's on the rear of my runner for about five years now. I check the air once in a while, and so far so good...(so far)...
My runner used to bottom-out going over speed bumps and passengers in the back seat. Didn't happen since installing the airbags. Even loaded 10 60lb bags of concrete in the rear once...(should've used my truck but I was being lazy)...the airbags held up well.
Oh yeah...the worst thing you can do is over inflate them. I keep mine at 8 - 10 psi...another buddy of mine split his bag (after only two weeks) because he kept his at 26 - 30 psi...he had the in-cab guage and compressor...told him it's not a tire, but he thought if 8 psi is good, 25 psi must better...Airlift replaced it under warranty though...

I installed the air bladder upgrade because i tow my 4000lb camper and I think they work great. I highly recommend them if you have a lot of tongue weight.
