hey steve (xenon depot) i bought a set of HID lights from you..and after a year one of my headlight is fogging up..... i have an extended warranty on the runner took it to the dealer and they said because i have aftermarket lights they won't warranty it........what do you think?

If there was a problem with the bulb then you would be experiencing this issue on both sides and the problem would have occurred a long time ago. I personally have had issues with condensation in fog lights with factory bulbs installed...

Steve's right, its common practice for Dealerships and Manufactuer's to deny claims due to aftermarket parts. Technically they cannot deny your claim if you can prove that the aftermarket component was not the direct cause of the problem at hand.

i.e. when I had my dealership warranty my front differential, they sent an inspector who saw my OLW 2.5" lift, 35" Nitto Terra-Grapplers, and SW Bumper. He didn't waste his time trying to deny the claim because after talking with me the differential had failed for a reason not associated with the modifcations (at least directly)

thank you for you reply. yeah it was weird it happened on one side only after a year or so..but I took the high beam light out and the HID on the low beam and put them back on, after a few days the condensation was not there anymore..
