I know that regular is recommended but are there any benefits to using to 89 or 91/93 gas?

What do you guys use?

I have 2010 TE and acceleration is somewhat important to me.....Thanks to my fellow T4Rs!!!

Strictly speaking, using the lowest exact octane rated for your engine will result in optimum performance, because higher octane fuels, having longer molecule chains, burn more slowly and thus not completely.

That said, I have always used mid-grade (89 octane) instead of regular (87 octane). Cheap gas--i.e., lower than 87 octane--can result in pre-ignition (PINGing), which is worse for your engine in the long run than any buildup of carbon in the cylinders (which can be fixed or ameliorated with SeaFoam, etc.).

I'm certain to get hell for this, so let it roll folks . . .
