All was mostly well with my kit. The side plates did get a little tweaked, but thankfully everything straightened out when I started bolting things together.

My only fitment concerns had nothing to do with the shipping, and more to do with the spacers that go between the roof and the side plates. Nothing a quick trip to Home Depot couldn't fix.

Those that haven't installed theirs yet, you can easily install the rack by yourself. However, a second set of hands would definitely cut down the installation time

I'm curious how long's the average wait time has been for the racks. Been waiting a long time for mine. Trying to be patient but this is killing me.
 
I think at this point it would not hurt to send Zach an email, might be the little push needed to get it out. I don't think its unreasonable at this point.

How long have you been waiting? To be honest, I dont mind the wait knowing that he's a one person working on it, while deal with other group buy like tacoworld and/or Tundra and other models. I wait for about a month and a half or so. It was killing me cause I keep seeing people getting notices of tracking # and what not and I didn't but a few days ago I finally got it.
 
It will be 10 weeks this tuesday. Ordered it on Jan 3rd. I know he had an issue with the white powder coat. just hard seeing all the group buys go out. I'll just have to keep dreaming and checking my email!

Hang in there, Rogue_Runner77. Just think about how custom a white rack is ;-) Even with the shipping and the wait time, the common theme throughout this thread is that it is worth the wait. I feel your mod pain.
 
Installed the rack a few days ago. Have two issues with the install. 1) The rear crossbar won't clear the shark fin antenna. And yes, I positioned it at the rear most spot where there was the extra hole. I had to mount it just in front of the antenna. 2) In regards to the mounting spacers I received two different sizes. 5 long ones and 7 short ones. Instructions didn't say anything about two different sizes nor where the short or long ones should be installed. Of course with a total of 8 mounting holes there wasn't enough of each type. I ended up installing the longer ones up front and shorter ones with washers in the rear so that it wouldn't contact the roof.

Overall happy with the rack and those issues aren't deal breakers but wondering if anyone else had the same issues?
 
Came home to this today! Haven't opened the box yet but plan to install tomorrow. Thankfully, it doesn't look like UPS had their way with the box...

There's a 1"x1" bar that can ordered from Zach for the rear clearance issue with the shark fin. It's under the current gen taco. A few extra washers on top the spacers got mine sitting right.

Fitment felt good. Only complaint was that one of the rails barely obstructed the front bolt holes for mounting to vehicle. I had all the rails mounted in the non-adjustable holes for even spacing (for now)

I may adjust the windfaring after driving as I set the height before installation.

I may change the position of the rail over the moon roof for obstructed views. Didn't realize it, but stock rack was installed with red locktite. May add loctite at some point 'cause yolo
 
Got the Prinsu installed and took it out on the trip. Naturally I had nothing on the rack lol

Mine finally comes in today! Excited and nervous to see how the packaging held up.

Also, what kind of silicone everyone is using for the plusnut?
