Pro Comp AAL

ADD A LEAF

Just ordered a new pair. They were by far the cheapest at $30/pair. I know that single AAL's can possibly kink the spring at the end. Is this a problem even for people who don't rock crawl? Here in eastern NC we have to go a ways to find a rock. I do tow a boat a lot so I needed some strength back there. Won't hurt the looks any either. I figured the right way to go was to buy new springs, but $30 compared to $300 I figured if this happens to not work I could still get new springs and only waste $30. Still waiting on them to come in. But before I install, anybody else done this? Any difference between the $30 AAL and the $100 AAL? Anybody think I should have done something different? Any installation advice? Will U-bolts still reach? Does ride degrade that bad? I bottom out every time I hit a bump so it shouldn't change too much for me. Thanks.

Edited title so somebody would respond.
