Pro Comp Wheels Center Cap Modification So They Will Fit.

Put Pro-Comp 7105 wheels on but like most others with pro-com wheels the center cap will not fit due to the clearance issues. There is enough clearance between the axle locating hub and the new pro-comp wheels but the cap hits the locating hub on the axle and will not allow it to fit.I took the center caps and with a Dremel I cut 4 notches about 1/2" deep from the open end of the cap so the ID of the center cap would not hit the axle locating hub and left 4 tabs aprox. 1/2" wide. Then leave off the supplied rubber O-ring.The caps fit on perfectly.
