I have a 2002 SR5 4Runner.
I used the instructions from this site...
2002 Toyota 4Runner - Free Keyless Remote Fob Entry programming instructions, procedures for all automotive vehicles
And everything seems to go fine and near the last step the lock cycle automatically so I think it is working fine but when I press the unlock and lock button and then press the lock button it doesn't program it for the 4Runner.
I am using a key FOB that goes to my 2005 Avalon, would this be a problem?
When I tried it the Avalon was next to the 4Runner, would that cause some kind of interference and prevent me from programming the 4Runner into the FOB?
My goal is to use the same key FOB for the 4Runner and Avalon.
Thanks,
