Problem Re-installing Climate Control???

I recently installed an ipod hookup for my stereo on my 03 4runner using the cd changer control and when reinstalling the climate control I couldn't get it to go all the way back on and be flush with the rest of the dash? I am very confused and don't understand how or why it won't go back on and was wondering if anyone else had and problems with this and if anyone had any suggestions that might help!?

Both of the clips on the back side seem to clip in fine yet once they are clipped in it is still not flush? I know this seems minor and looks fine when you look at it from the front but from the driver or passengers angle you can see the gap! It annoys the crap out of me!

There are some bolts that hold the head unit in place. Did you happen to install them, before installing the silver bezel? If so, then the bezel sits on top of the bolt heads and may prevent things from sitting flush. uuhhh, I won't say how I know that can happen for fear of embarrassing myself further... :nerd:

So when reinstalling the HU I need to make sure the silver bezel parts go under the bolts for the HU? Is that what you are saying? Do the tabs for the Silver Bezel have holes or something that the bolts for the HU go thru?
