**Problem Solved* front end metallic clanking sound

Several threads have been posted here about that "clanking/metallic sound" coming from the front end. Mine ended up being LCA lower bolts not tightened to spec. Service manual states 129 pounds of torque... After the stealership had to replace my p/s LCA under warranty because of a stripped out eccentric bolt, which requires it to be realigned. They apparently didnt tighten up the lower bolts to spec. I had only about 80 pounds of torque on these bolts both d/s and p/s. Tightened to spec and the clank is gone. Problem solved.

Soooo much truth to this... Ive encountered several occasions over the years that a dealer under or over torqued (thus stripping) various parts on my vehicles.
