problem with 94 t4r

hey i have a 94 t4r with 120k original i am having a radio problem i just checked fuse box replaced 2 fuses(not radio)...the radio was then working again.... then stoped working i then checked fuses again all were fine.... has a brand new alternator and a brand new battery alternator belt is tight.....any ideas thanks

Is it the stock radio?

yes it is a stock radio... one more thing is that the saftey feature when keys are in ignition and it wont let u lock doors that is not working as well the problems seem to be paired... both were in working order and now both arnt but im no expert

sounds like a mouse got in the harness and did some chewing, trace your wires make sure they are intact. it takes time but its the only way to find a short.

Sound's like a short, this was happening to my old rig. Good luck start tracing the wire's.
