Doesn't even show the location of the dipstick...you do have a dip stick on your 4R?
Sorry, I have a 05 V8 5sp...no stick.
But here are two procedure from two different vehicles...one had a AW4 (aisin - toyota) transmission 4sp.
2000 Jeep Cherokee:
- drive vehicle to reach operating temperature
- park on level ground and raise hood...set parking brake
- place transmission in Drive - reverse - drive -reverse and then to park (leave engine idling)
- remove dipstick...wipe clean...replace and then take reading...might want to repeat to confirm levels.
2006 Honda CRV:
- same as above except do not leave engine idling when check fluid level. If you ever saw the engine bay of a CRV, you would understand.
Maybe an official Toy tech can chime in here...
