Procomp Backorders

I recently ordered one procomp 7105 series wheel as a matching spare tire. After not getting a shipping confirmation e-mail from tirepackage.com, I found out that the wheel is on backorder for 2-4 months. So I gave procomp a call and they said the same thing, but recomended a few warehouses that might have one laying around, but no luck. Was wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem on any other products from them.

Wow, that sucks man. Thanks for the heads up, I was about to order some pro comp rims but I guess I'll hold off for now.

I would imagine it's a model-specific shortage, not a company-wide thing. If you're not ordering the model # listed, you're probably fine. Call and check before giving up outright.

Yeah Procomp said the certain wheel I ordered is not very popular, so they slowed the production of them, eventually to discontinue them. But I would also recommend giving them a call to see if the wheel you want is out there before ordering.

Yeah, I wanted some pro comp rims but had to opt out because of the backorder, ended up with Iron Eagle rims, had them in 7 days and am very happy with them Saying that my FJ 6" Pro Comp drop bracket came in 16 days after I returned the same kit built for a Tacoma (didnt quite fit) and I only waited 8 days for that. I've heard that Pro Comp tires are on backorder as well but are easier to find elsewhere.
