Projectors?

Hi guys,
I was looking at pictures and i saw some rigs with projectors. I was just curious where you would buy those headlights. Any suggestions?

They're retrofitted (custom made).. search for projector retrofit and you'll find a whole bunch about it. There are not any manufactured projector headlights for the 3rd gens. They're all kits put together and then built.

expensive. my retro, had I paid someone, would have been around $1000. Regardless, you can start by buying the cheapest set of clear (not frosted) 99-02 headlights off ebay. You'll need them anyways. They don't have to be anything special since light output won't matter once the retro is done and the reflector bowl is no longer used.

I heard the 430 has a crazy wide output though.

Very easy mod.

Do not get eBay lights. Buy only oem. The eBay lights are made from a very cheap plastic and break easily.

I just removed my projectors and am going back to frosted oem.

Check this site out. This is a friend of mine through another forum. I got a Mini H1 setup from him. Going to retro them in my Accord headlights. Thinking of doing the same for the 4 runner if I like the outcome. The Mini H1 are going to be the best bang for your buck lights out there. But its all about preference and pairing of the correct light/wattage combo's. Do it right and you will be very happy. Mess it up and it will perform worse then what you got now.
