proper way to check transmission fluid level needed

Hi!

I'm going to do my 4th drain and fill this weekend.
Last 3 times I drained fluid than filled up with same amount plus 100 ml more .
After 4th Drain and fill I would like to be sure than fluid level is right.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me exactly step by step instruction how to do that.

The bad thing is my drip plug is striped but I have ordered already a new plug from the dealer and going to fix that.

I have read some posts from other forums but I'm confused about them. My English is sucks .

What part are you confuesed about?
 
Assuming your transmission fluid service is complete using the link above.
(or you simply want to check your existing level)
Keep the vehicle running on level ground until the tranny is up to the Normal Operating Temperature (NOT) band.
Once in band, (chock the wheels and have it in park obviously) crawl under the vehicle (while it's still running, not a comfrotable feeling I know but it needs to be done) and pull the level check plug in the pan.
If some fluid drips out, wait for it to stop, then reinstall the plug, you're good to go. Level is perfect.

now, how to tell the tranny is up to NOT is often debated. I use the torque pro app and a bluetooth obd2 adapter because I hate guessing and I hate jumpering pin sockets and putting the vehicle into a diagnostic mode without he proper tools. This is how I do it and it's never failed me and seems like the least time consuming.

It shouldn't... when I replaced my 4th gen's fluid, that was the write up I used and it worked perfectly.
 
Ok so I jump the pins and did exactly like the manual says but after shifting from N to D I'm getting solid AT longer than 2 sec and than goes to blinking. . When I shift to P is also solid. After 2 minutes idling is flashing
 
OK it's done :)

I have started doing that after 30 min travel on the highway and that's why AT was blinking - tranny fluid was to hot.
After 2 hours I have tried again shift 3 times from N to D and AT was gone after 2 sec. After about 10 minutes idling I've got solid AT light than i jumped under the truck and drain about 200 ml from the drain plug. As soon I've noticed small trickle I just put drip plug back.

Test drive went well. Thank you guys for your advices !
