Pros and Cons to Ipad in Dash

I carry an old iPad 1 with celluler & wi-fi for navigation on and off-road as well as music. Good use for an obsolete model. I use bungee cords when I want to use it and was thinking of making one that mounts like yours. Looks like I don't have to, who makes yours?

There just seems to be so much reliability on the mount fitting and anchored in the cd cavity it makes me wonder about how it would work on the trail..OMG its a :llama: wtf

While the iPad has never fallen off, I've never experienced it on trail, but I'd assume it hold up well. Just make sure you have a case on your iPad, extra protection. You never know and those darn things are SO expensive.
