Protecting e-locker switch from accidental activation

I'm going to get the Low Range Off Road e-locker switch hooked up. The location in the dash has a dud in there now so I could put it there but I'm worried it might accidentally get pushed while going down the highway from dogs or whatever, maybe I'm in cruise control and I hit it with my knee. The factory OEM switch won't activate unless going less than 5 mph but with this aftermarket one I won't have those protections. Is there a cover people have put over the switch? Or maybe I could hide a simple inline power switch somewhere else which must be switched to on before the locker switch will do anything.

I just put in a simple switch hidden somewhere that must be turned on before the main switch will activate the locker.
