PSA: Tightening Throttle Body Bolts

The first time I cleaned my throttle body, I broke a bolt torquing them to the stated specs. The second time, I set the torque wrench to 12 ft/lbs instead of 15 but as noted here, it again felt like too much.

So this time, I was being very gentle in snugging them down - 1/4 turn past finger tight - but then heard the dreaded "SCHRINNK!" noise. Unscrewed the bolt and found this. Very glad it didn't break entirely.

Others have had the same issue. Is there some flaw in these bolts?

EDIT: P/N for anyone wanting to buy these is 90105A0080, which supersedes the original 91551-80650. Hoping the new p/n means they've strengthened the bolts.

Looks about like 1/4-20. In which case generally recommended to torque to 6 ft-lbs.

Seems like the manual isn't a great guide if its recommending 15 ft-lbs and they break a lot.
