Pulling and rplacing my 22RE in my 88 4runner

Looking for advice or links to good threads here on the yank and install. Should I pull motor and tranny? The donor motor runs good but I can't get the fuel pump to deliver fuel. Is there a roolover fuel pump cut off switch on these. I can't even find which fuse needs to be installed and relays to be sure fuel is delivered. We are spraying gas in the intake boot. I hot wired the fuel pump under the rear seat but still no dice. Links to the fuse box legend and the two relay locations involved in the process appreciated. I would like to run it alittle more.

FSM shows NO Roll-over cut off switch. If airflow ceases, Circuit-Opening Relay will interrupt power to fuel pump.

EFI fuse, Main EFI relay, Circuit-Opening-Relay and Air Flow Meter control the fuel-pump.

P.S. My truck seems to have a bad head gasket (hoping head itself is OK). Might decide to get a rebuilt-engine. If anybody has recommended vendor in So Cal, pls send me a P.M.

I'm not any help on the fuel delivery but I did just button up my rebuild on my 85 22re so it's pretty fresh in my mind. It wasn't rocket science, just take some to be sure and label everything and take lots of pictures. Oh and make sure you put all your nuts and bolts in plastic baggies with labels too, makes everything go much smoother on installation. I pulled just the engine and it was not very difficult to get apart or back together, just needed about 3 feet of extensions and a u joint socket. A helping hand is big too.
 
You can bypass all the interlocks to the fuel pump by jumpering the +B and Fp terminals in the test connector adjacent to the engine bay fuse box.

Can you post a pic of that. I ran 12V straight to the fuel pump, pump running but still no starteee. Figuring the relay is missing, AFM problems etc. By jumping what you mention I opens everthing and runs the pump. I saw it in the manual but couldn't find it. They seemed to have made some changes on location and the looks of it as well. Mine is an 88.
