Searched the 3rd gen forum, but could not locate instructions on pulling the ECU codes.

Anyone know what magic combination does this?

not as easy as the OBDI cars, have to have a code scanner for the 3rd gens.

OK, thx.... I have a scanner tool on my laptop that displays all sorts of engine information, but it's for my Nissan OBDI.

If you can at least pull a code with a scann tool from Auto Zone or the likes, post it up. If you do it on a weekday, I can look it up for ya. When i used a scan tool as mentioned above, it would not tell what the code was or pertained to.

checkout a scangauge 2, i believe it works for 96 + up. it will tell trouble codes & more, about $150, heres a place that you can get a list of what the #s are, alldatadiy.com, it cost $, also, check out the toyotanation.com forum, theres a complete list of 96+ codes on it.
