Pump me up. Do's and don'ts with the BL steering extention

Is the clock spring used just for the steering wheel controls? I don't have controls on my truck.

Mainly horn and airbag, controls if it has it.

If your Airbag light is on and/or your horn doesn't work, that's usually an indicator?
