Purple Fog Lights

Saw this guy in his Toyota Sienna today with the Purple fogs! I guess he thinks it looks cool!

Thank you everyone. I live in a place where there is a 0% chance of fog ever. If I put on my stock fog lights at night, everyone flashes their high beams at me (bc they are too bright)- so they are essentially useless as is.
The purple is not for functionality, it's for style. Something different for a "girl" truck.

If people are flashing their lights at you when you drive then you should take that as a sign its probably time to take your car in to have the headlights and fog lights aimed/adjusted/aligned.
You can also do this yourself... it really is not a complicated process.
In addition to that there are rules/regulations/laws regarding lighting... 99.9% of the time, adding a HID bulb into a housing that was not designed for one may be against the law or against DOT rulings.
Without getting technical... often times if there are aftermarket bulbs or kits used in cars, the reflector might not be setup for it and isn't able to actually control the light the bulb produced. Ultimately this makes for a lot of glare (scattered uncontrolled light) and because of that the lights cant be aimed.
You end up being a hazard to your self and others... Most people don't think about this but sometimes there can be some hidden repercussions. Last thing you need is to get into an accident and have the plaintiff say your headlights were blinding them in the accident and potentially have my own insurance claim denied because of that.
Personally, I just like to be a considerate driver. And in the nicest way possible... fog lights are not for style points. Keep the purple in the drink and off the car.

What is your advice for getting purple-colored fog lights? I've seen the Baja Fog Pocket kits in yellow only. I've seen a vinyl purple film, but I think that'll be too ghetto looking. And I don't like the purple circled LED light bulbs. Any suggestions?

use the Diode Dynamics LED RGB kit with Bluetooth controller. You can choose purple or whatever color you want. Mainly cosmetic but still better than stock.
