I am new here and looking for advice. I have spent hours looking at different suspension set-ups. This will not be my first modified truck and I am capable of doing the work myself.
I am getting a 99-00 runner in the next few weeks. The rig will be used to haul bikes(on the roof, at least 3) and more than likely will have a Thule hard cargo box on fulltime. There will be a load of mt biking gear and other camping stuff also.
I am thinking that I would go with the Sonoran Steel Bilstein coil-overs in the front and LC coils rear. What rear shocks go best with the LC coils? Seems like a pretty solid set-up. More than likely I will do the SS adj panhard, diff drop, and extended lines. I think the only other thing I am going to need are some sway bar end links and I should be good. I prefer to keep a slight rake, even when loaded. For tires, I am going to start off w/ 265/75/16 and possibly go to 285s if I find the time to wheel more. I am just looking to built a semi-capable rig that I can count on. Would the OME choices be a better option if 265s are the max tire? I am worried about their tendency to sag. Looking to do things once and be done.
Well, there it is. Any ideas, opinions or holes in my plan?
