Push button start....

What if you loose it while camping? Do you have a hide a key fob? I like a good old fashioned key so I can start my car like a guy and keep a hidden key for emergency.

Now, I do wish my ignition was dash mounted so the keychain wouldn’t rub my leg when wheeling. That would be a nice change.

you can always bring your 2nd smart key. remove the battery and hide it in the car. also remove the metal key form the fob and hide it elsewhere :)

Wife has it and I've had it in 2 out of my last 3 vehicles. I personally don't care for it but probably for a weird reason. I like my wife to be able to start it from her side. With push button it's impossible because you can't hit the brake.

Has any one tried installing a remote start thats passive keyless entry, w a keypad, push to start that you can hook up to you phone? I have a 2016 4R trail edition that is like to have that on.

My last three vehicles have had push starts. To avoid this situation, for each of the three, I installed a pull string at the throttle body (think lawnmower pull string). Every time my FOBs died, I opened the hood and just crank pulled it, similar to how you would start a lawnmower. Worked every time...
