Python 1401 Alarm system Install

Hello,
I have a 1996 Limited 4Runner that I'm going to install an alarm system on. I finally found an installation guide (after much searching). The jerks at DEI wouldn't send me one. Anyways I'm not sure which door lock system that I have on my Runner. I need to know if I have to install any relays or not. I do all the work on my vehicles, so taking it somewhere for them to do a sloppy job that I'm just going to go back and straighten up is not an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. i didn't use relays and it works just fine also this place is very helpful here's a list

Ok I got the keyless lock and unlock wires straitened out.. Now I need help with the remote start.. There are like three different wires labeled ignition....Do all of these wires need to be hooked up? Also does the remote start system have to be powered up to use the key to start the car? Thanks for your help!

Hey, I am doing the exact same install. I have a 1996 4Runner and I will be installing a Python 1401. Any advice on the install would be greatly appreciated. Did you have an alarm system installed on the truck before the install? I was wondering if I should remove the old alarm or if I can just leave it in place and keep it functional.

If you want post the basic wiring diagram for the alarm, and i'll try to help you out a bit. or email it to me if you can't post it.
