Q about 2007 picture on the web

I was browsing Craigslist ads and found this 2007 for sale.

It appears to have a schrockworks bumper (and some horrible style rims....)

I see what appears to be a hitch receiver mounted low on the passenger side. Makes no sense to me.

What the heck do ya'll think it is?

Maybe the vehicle was towed behind an RV although a weird set up. Or maybe a custom bracket for a flag when taking it to the dunes so people can see ya coming over hills and such....No idea just guessing

But, why? There's two perfectly good recovery points built into the bumper... The only possible explanation I can think of is if they needed to mount a ball & hitch in the front to tow/move something? Don't some truck owners mount their hitches in the front to maneuver trailers and boats?

mount for a cooler/surf fishing set up? offset it so it didn't obstruct vision while driving? can't think of my else you would do with a hitch there....just my $.02

At least I am pretty sure. I have seen that before and it was to put and extended rod holder for surf fishing.

Edit: Nevermind there is a winch in the bumper.
