I am sold.
I feel like the front was inspired by an FJ and the back by a LandCr
I also like the under floor trunk storage and having the outlets in the back
thanks for the photo shopping work, black is probably what I will be buying
at one point someone said the price will probably come in a little lower than the 4th gen price points, that would be nice givin the "downgrades" with the lights and antenna (you can always buy HID's aftermarket for $250)
by the way the shark fin is a GPS antenna
I hope they are on dealer lots by early october

Holy sh** now that is a 4runner. I wish I could manipulate images like that in photoshop like you have. I am assuming this was done in photoshop. I just have to ask how you did it. I would love to previsualize custom work I want to do to my 4th gen. Iron Clad Lou great job.

Haha, I'm with you. The small lift and large a/t tires look great. I'm sure we are going to have to wait a bit before someone will have any lift kits available.

Wow, official pictures are not even out yet AND we go and get a picture of it, mod it out, change the color and put it on the front page. Are we great or what??? I can just see some buyer go to a dealer and say, I want that one....

wow, thanks guys...all done in photoshop...the wheels, tires and lights are from a pic of my rig merged with the original shot that I color corrected to be black.

wow the 5th gen looks sick. I don't know how I feel about SUV's always growing in size (pathfinder, xterra) like they're all on a bad diet, or got stung by a bee..

Iron Clad Lou. You have become very popular. And have made a lot of us very happy, I know I am ready to go and buy the new 5th gen. Can you explain how you changed the color of the truck, with out affecting all the other areas of the picture. And also, how you got the wheels to look almost perfect (angle, etc.) and the scoop looks as if you rendered it. I hope you don't mind explaining how you did it. I have a 2005 red 4r that I want to paint the top black, with a small pinstripe down the side. Kind of like the two tone on the Ford Harley Davidson Truck. Except that I want mine to be the toyota salsa red and a pearl black. I also want to put on some nice 20" Enkies, blacken out the headlights, blacken out the tails, and make a custom grill. But I would like to do this all first in photoshop to make sure this is what I want to do. If you could explain to me how you did it, I would be eternally grateful.

Hey, at least the rear spoiler reverted back to the "humpless" design. That's a plus! LOL

May be a plus in the "looks" department, but the "hump" is actually quite functional. Here's hoping their rear wipers are up to the task...that laid-level spoiler isn't going to push an ounce of air down the back glass at speed which means we're back to mongo amounts of road spray again back there when it rains.

I like my 'hump'. Had my '08 T4R since Christmas 2008 and have yet to need my rear wiper a single time in the rain. The hydrophobic glass and 'hump' spoiler negate the need for one 99% of the time on the current models IMO.

i like iron clad lou s version, but still think the front fascia goes too far down, & cant seem to get over the flat sided with skirt look, anyway, i cant wait to see one like the photoshoped version in person, ill probobly change my mind just like i did with my 08 highlander.
