Quasi-official pics of 2010 4Runner

Autoblog posted some more pics of the new 4Runner.
The exterior pic is the same that has been here for 2-3 days but there is also a couple of shots of the trunk with some weird sliding panel... Not too sure what to think about that.
There is also a teaser shot of the interior and I must say that those look like some rather cheap plastics.

I like the sliding cargo area...it's hard to tell the quality of it from the pic, but I would assume the sliding mechanism is metal and just the slide handle is plastic. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

That thing would be so awesome if it was Imperial Jade with the Hyper Silver tundra rims from the 06 model.

Thats funny, I was just muttering this to myself. There really doesnt seem to be enough advancement in design for it be worthy of being a whole new model. From the dash layout and plastics to side profile, to shutlines, doorjams, trunk layout, all seems alot like a heavily reskinned 4th gen.

Is the new Prado/GX/4Runner a completely new chassis?

I do like these pimped mock up pics of a trail edition though, that seems to look the most right, kind of like the FJs big brother. This seems to be where they have gone with the whole design and demographic anyway.
