Question about AndyMod 2.0

So, the VSC is acting up and based on what I read here my symptoms should be solved by doing the AndyMod 2.0. I'd love to keep the stock look on the inside however apparently plain 12v rocker switches are somewhat hard to find by me. I was wondering if I could re-purpose a heated seat switch to do the trick since it would match the others and could be re-labeled with some paint and contact paper:

Has anyone used one of these? Is is possible? I haven't pulled one out yet but was thinking that since it pushes and locks into place it might work as opposed to a traditional rocker switch.

Unfortunately I did see that and it isn't what I was looking for.

With those buttons (not switch), each time you turn the runner off it resets itself and you have hit the button again to turn it back off. I drive the 4Runner in the winters and I want to set it and forget it until sometime in spring when the snow is gone and I am in 2wd. That is why I want a switch. With the heated seats I thought that might work as the button stays depressed until you push it again. I have yet to find one cheap though so this might be a moot point after all. Those buggers are expensive and a simple rocker is like $4. If I knew it work I might look a bit harder however I have very little free time and $ to experiment these days, hence why I was wondering if anyone had used one for the mod

I used a fog light switch for mine. It can stay switched, which will keep VSC off until you flip the switch (and restart the 4runner).

PT297-89013-sw is probably what you're looking for. I paid around $10 for mine from the dealer, fits right into the switch blanks, and has a clean factory look.

I've tried this many times with no success...

what flashes is the ABS light, not the VSC lights as mentioned in the 0-point calibration instructions.... very confused..
this happened after an alignment and i haven't fixed it since...

could it be a bad wheel sensor?

That could be. I meant to look for the switch part # that the 2wd versions have however havent yet. As for a junk yard, it is -8 right now and snow covering the junk yard. Last time I went there were no 3rd gen 4Runners, not going to freeze my ass off to check if there are any now.

So this mod was exactly what I needed, don't have to fear getting t-boned @ an intersection.

My one question however is about the labeling the switch. Basically I'd like this logo:

on the button but cannot find anywhere that sells a label/sticker/dry transfer to use. What have others used?

I used a fog light switch (got it on Ebay for like 6.00) and made this label.

Glued it on switch and then covered with several coats of clear poly. 2 years and still looking good

This is mine. It's a bit more involved than just cutting a wire to put a switch on, but I love that factory look.
