Question about driveline service

Is it ok to use the same fluid for the transfer cases and the differential? I was thinking of using Mobil 1 75W-90. Is this what you guys are using?

What place has the best price for it?

I used Amsoil severe gear 75W-90 in mine. The Mobil 1 will priced very similarly everywhere. Watch the Sunday paper for sales.

I purchased the Mobil 1 gear oil and grease, got underneath the car, sprayed the bolts with WD-40 and realized that I don't have a 24 mm socket. Well at least I figured out where the zerks are. I still don't know which grease goes into which zerks but I figure if I load all of them with the Mobil 1 synthetic grease it will be OK.

Amsoil is either purchased online from amsoil.com or from a local rep. Usually local reps operate out of their homes, but anyone can be a rep. so the possibilities are many. I bought mine online.
