Question about lower running/blinkers

I just put a bumper that I made on and I put led lights in the bumper for the running lights and blinkers. I thought originally that they were illuminated at all times even when the headlights were on, is this true? This morning I noticed that when I turned my headlights on the running/blinkers lights when out, they would still light up then I would turn on my blinkers but that's it. If I turned my headlights of they come back on. Is this normal operation? Btw I have a 04 sport. Thanks

Can't remember on the lights but that is one sweet front bumper and skid! You should make another one and sell it to me for my 05.

They're daytime running lights, so they're only illuminated when your headlights are off. Awesome bumper!

Thanks for the complements! I really enjoy building parts for my rig. Does anyone know if there is a mod I can do to make them full time even with headlights on? Sounds dumb but I really like the look when there on.
