This past weekend I replaced my original front struts on my 2001 4Runner with 195000 miles. I used Monore 171351 L/R for the fronts. The strut had a tag that said it will drop over time. After completed both front struts their was a noticeable difference in the ride height. I took the truck on the freeway and the left side dropped about 3/4 in and the right hardly any. I can tell when driving that the right side sits higher. My question is has anyone else had this experience and how long did it take for your struts to drop?

I have Monroes on the front of mine, and they never dropped. I ended up putting the '99 tall springs in the rear to level it out. The front is still just a touch higher than even the tall springs, but not that you notice with the naked eye.
If one side is sitting noticeably higher than the other, I'd recheck the installation. That sounds like a spring isn't seated like it should be, or something else going on.
