Question about supercharging

I posted this over at yt to, but lets see if i can get some input from over here as well.

I found a 1st gen supercharger with everything needed to install on CL for $600. It did state it will need the nose cone rebuilt and the rotors have 50k on them. would you jump on this and rebuild it??? If so where can i get a rebuilt kit?

As for fuel, Would i be able to get by w/o any fuel upgrades using the stock boost. You would think toyota would design it to where you would not need much until you start tweaking and running a bigger pulley. So i wouldnt need a 7th injector kit and the stand along ecu on stock boost would I?

Anyway, im really thinking about this and it could be awesome if i could get by on a budget and not do any major upgrades for a while.

HA! I saw this one too and asked him if I could trade work for the blower. He hasnt responded. lol Offer him $500 and you can buy rebuild parts from rollingperformance.com. If its the black s/c, you can buy a rebuilt nose assy from the dealer. The grey s/c's you cant buy them. First thing would be to take the nose off and see what it really needs before buying parts.

Dont get everyone started on fuel mods. Yes, you can get by without them. I did. All I added was a cooler tstat and denso iridium plugs. It worked great even with towing
