I have a yelow top optima under the hood and a kinetix hc600 in the back for my audio system
I plug the 2 battery in parallel with a fuse after each one
My question :its necessary to put a isolator between the 2 battery or its OK like that!!![/URL]~original[/IMG]
Isolators are not necessary unless you want to run the audio system without fear of drawing the voltage down on your starting battery. In which case you should isolate the battery you run the system off of.
So if you want to run your system with the engine off for extended periods of time, yes you will want to isolate the batteries from each other. You can use a battery isolator, which I don't like, or you can use a continuous solenoid, which I do like.

OK, so I'm too damn lazy to explain it to you. Do you have internet? Ever heard of google? Seriously this information is everywhere. Here is one example.
Battery Isolators
An Isolator uses diodes to Isolate the batteries. A solenoid uses a "relay" style mechanical disconnect. Much more to it than that, but that is the gist of it. Research, read, then ask more questions, then research some more.
