Question for the supercharged guys?

When you installed your supercharger was there any provisions for modifying the PCV system to handle boost?

If not, are you guys having problems with blow by, leaking seals etc.?

Is there something you guys do as a work around for positive pressure in the crankcase (i.e. catch can, check valves etc)?

IIRC, the PCV never sees positive boost pressure. It is connected to the air intake tube. Only thing i had to add was a check valve for the IAC valve.

Is that how the PCV system is stock or was it a modification per the TRD kit? Did the TRD kit specify adding a check valve for the IAC or is that just a well known mod to do? What check valve did you use?

That is how it is stock. The PDF that Ripcord posted has the vaccum routing diagrams near the end.

Yes, a small one-way check valve must be installed in one of the PCV lines.

(PDF of TRD install guide)
See page 11.

That is the IAC check valve

Rip, you have an 02, and the directions say to skip the installation of the check valve for 01 and up. I have an 02 as well. Now I'm a little confused.

That is odd. I have a genuine paper copy of the install manual and it does not have that part about 01+. Ill load a picture in a sec.

Either way, everything is working properly.

Here it is: (sorry, phone pic)

page 10 in my manual.
