Question for those with 3in lift and OEM UCA's

I know there are mixed opinions on UCA's. I know they're helpful in getting Specs back/close to OEM. And some disadvantages on highway driving. But for those who are currently on stock UCA's and lift....Did you notice any tire wear issues? Do you regret not getting UCA's? Is the Highway driving really that noticeable.

I currently have 5100's at top notch, FJ coils and stock UCA's. Just trying to save a little money if UCA's aren't all that necessary. Some people will say might as well get them and install all at once but I would also like sliders with the 3inch setup... If money wasn't an issue things would be easier haha. I need opinions please.

Thanks!

I did 3" initially with stock UCA. The alignment was at the edge of being in spec. Caster was quite low. Once I went just over 3" I added caster corrected UCA's. Made a very noticeable difference in the on road handling.

IMHO once you get to 3" caster corrected UCA's are highly suggested.

They make a huge difference the the way the vehicle rides at highway speeds. Plus the articulation is better off road. When you find yourself trying to cut corners and pinch pennies ponder this:

If you saw your truck for sale for $11,300 with stock UCA's as the limiting component of the suspension, but right next to it was an identical one for $11,700 with aftermarket UCA's that allowed the rest of the suspension to live up to it's potential, which one would you choose.
