Front hitch
Took another pic. Don't know how visible it is. I added a brophy hitch extender and a license plate holder for the moron ny'ers who have no clue how to park. I can use that front hitch for other things like a winch, a cargo carrier, bike rack, towing aircraft into/out of the hanger......
Way better than a "bull bar", plastic air dam........

I had a bad day a week or so ago w/search nazi nonsense involving 1engineer, antman, forgot who else.....anyway, I respect these guys a whole lot. Put up good posts, threads, great mods/answers......but I got a little irritated with a nasty search answer/response.....if they view this post I sincerely apologize.....
We ALL have our moments.....and that was mine......

Actually, I was wondering if you have time could you post a side shot of that front license plate holder while on the vehicle? Very curious to see how far out it sticks, it looks like exactly what need for braille parking defense on the front end

Just so you know. I have a brophy 7" hitch extender going into the curt 31367 hitch receiver so that license plate bracket can clear the bumper....
Got all this stuff, including the silent hitch locks (2 chrome/ss pins) you see attaching the extender and license bracket at etrailer.com.... I'm not advertising for them. But their service and shipping is excellent.

Great pics of the install. Did you have to remove any trim pieces to have it installed?
Can the skid plate remain on with the 31367 (low profile) front receiver installed?

Charter, I installed mine this past summer on my 2010 SR5. The skid plate can remain in place. Only thing i had to leave off is the plastic trim piece that connects the bumper to the first (front) skid plate. Oh, and I had to use a hammer to slightly bend upwards the L-bracket that holds the trim piece. It was in the way of mounting the front receiver hitch. Good luck
