Yes, the Subaru Heavy Duty Roof Basket is the same as the Yakima Loadwarrior. The Subaru-branded version includes the fairing and netting, which are not included with the LoadWarrior, so that's a bonus.
I have the Subaru basket on my Outback (my 4Runner is on a boat still.) I've also added the Yakima LoadWarrior 18" Extension, which includes an adjustable crossbar. I initially had the basket mounted on the factory crossbars, and later moved it to a set of Thule square crossbars. I haven't seen the 4Runner crossbars, but if they are typical of most aero style crossbars, it should fit fine.
If you get one (or any basket), be sure to use a heat-resistant sealer between the tube sections and in all the bolt holes when assembling. This keeps water from getting inside, rusting, and dripping down the side of your vehicle. Last fall, I took mine off, used ScotchBrite to stuff it up, and painted the whole assembly with chassis paint.
Here are a bunch of photos of my basket:
Here you can see the clamp on my OEM bars.
Here's the extra crossbar detail that comes with the 18" extension.
Here it is with the awning mounted to the FourTreks mounts
I hope that helps,
Steve
