Question for you guys with a babyseat in the back?

What do you guys use to put underneath the car seat so the leather doesn't get ruin? A blanket? or is their an item that is actually sold for this purpose?

There is a mat you can buy that goes under/behind the mat. We bought ours in the car seat section at Toys 'R Us. It helps a great deal, and also helps catch the crumbs the little ones seem to emit.

I don't use it on our 4R, since it's a TE. Flip the seat forward, crumbs go onto the husky liner

I got the ones from BabiesRus too. Lion something brand. I use it for both car seats, I didn't have one the base of the removable infant seat originally and you can see wear marks on the fabric in the lower back area. The one I have is a two piece, I know have the lower and upper installed for both seats even though the infant car seat doesn't really touch much of the vertical part of the seat.

Mini thread hijack... but I use the Recaro Pro sport seat and I think it's the bomb! I had a Recaro infant seat and switched to the pro later on. The Recaro seats are awesome!

The Prince Lionheart has a edge around the back and part of the sides that is really good at catching spills, including kid puke. Ask me how I know! Not a drop made it to the seats. And because it is two piece, as you progress to booster only, you just remove the back piece.

We use the Prince Lionheart one posted above. We have 2 of them in our Tacoma. They work fantastic. The flared edge catches all the junk they drop. And it's very ridgid so you don't get the seat impressions from the presure of the seat.

We use the Evenflo Symphony 65 (2 of them) and with the really sloped back seats of the Tacoma we had to use towels to level them. Well the pressure of the towels pushes down really hard on the seats. When we would take the seats out it would take a few hours for the seat foam to recover, not to mention it's probably stretching the leather.

With the Lionheart seat protectors it spreads the pressure over the whole seat.

Sorry I'm rambling, but when I find a product that is fantastic I get a little excited. You will not be disapointed
