Question on the 2016 Taco

Looks like the Prerunner badge had been dropped. Are the SR, SR5 models the same suspension? Sit the same height?

I am looking to buy a commuter, all options I need are BT, remote locks, 4 cyl and access cab, cruise would be nice.

They dropped the 5 lug model, if that's what you're asking.

If you can do without remote locks, you can get a Work Truck SR 4cyl with no rear seat for less than 25k for a 4x4, about 2 grand less for a 4x2.

That is correct...

Local dealer has 5 of the WT models listed, white, no rear seat, 4x2 for $22.5K.

I did not know there was a difference on the number of lugs.

The PreRunner was a six lug model with the same suspension as the 4x4.

The more basic 2WD models had 5 lugs, smaller wheels and tires, and much lower suspension.

Toyota dumped that model and now the 2WD are all 4WD suspension and lug type, they'd be called PreRunners now, I guess.
