I got another question for you Sloan, how hard was it for you to remove those emblems and what methods or techniques made it much easier to remove? I would also like to know what tools or materials you used? Thanks in advance!

And to add to the members on yotatech.com who were bashing you because of your headline title: "Murdered Out," they can be a tough crowd and very one-minded at time. Many of them do the cliche thing to do on a Toyota, rather than do what fulfills their own personal perference. Great emblems!

thanks man but you probably should have just replied to the previous topic opposed to start a new one.

but to answer your question i used just dental floss and my fingernails to get most of the sticky off. I bought this stuff from Lowe's called 'Goof Off' that i put on a old t-shirt and rubbed on the remaining sticky till it was all off.


yea and some people on there can be harsh but some are also very helpful. the harsh crowd on there is often the ones who offer the less amount of help at times. you have a nice 4runner btw, isn't yours 2WD to?

I made a mistake by posting a new thread, rather than replying to yours.

Yes mine is 2WD also and I am proud of it. I get very harsh criticism for spending money on a 2WD but as a college student it will sit fine with me. I love my truck for its reliability and plan to do some more mods before I call it a quits (i.e. e-locker, supercharger, etc.)
