Questions about Lighting and Locks

I did the morimoto HID upgrade for my 07 limited and Im very happy about it, however... Im not sure why, when I flash my high beams with every other light off, my low beams (xenon) are going on as well!?

This usually never bothered me as I figured I would leave the lights on permanently... but recently when I press the lock button on my key fob twice it may or may not turn off my headlights. This lead to a dead battery yesterday (Optima Yellow group 31), so now it really got on my nerves!

Any thoughts, recommendations or suggestions on how to fix this?

Assuming you wired everything properly and your low beams are BI-Xenon, they now function as low and high beams. I've had that setup for a few years now and have never had a battery drain issue. Could your wiring be the issue?

Possibly a wiring issue, but I honestly wouldnt know where to start. It makes sense that they are BI XENON they will turn on when I flash my high beams... I just figured it could have something to do with the battery draining issue.

What leaves me puzzled is basically the fact that sometimes the lights (when switched on) will go off after the second time you press the lock on the keyfob. Sometimes it wont...

Could it be a low voltage thing from the battery?
