questions of winter tires for limited 20' wheel

Hey guys
I got two different setup for my local tire shops for winter tires.
one is bridgestone blizzak dm-v1 studless 245/60/20 which is the factory install tire size. the other one is hankook ipike rw11 studdable 275/55/20 and I know someone on forum running 275/55 without problem. which set is better for winter, more or less wide?

In general for winter a narrow tire is better. I'd get the blizzak in stock size if it were me.

I went to another tire shop, they offer me both rims and tires, said 265/70 17 with 4 black steel rim will be a good choice it will cost almost the same as the 20' blizzak (they have to special order)

I also stopped by the dealer and a friend works in part department show me on the computer two different type of black steel for 2010-11 4runner. They are 17*7 and 17*7.5, no 20*7 at all. They also have 2 for each trim (a different symbol on the rim)

I don't know if I can put those 17*7.5(for trail edition) on sr5/limited instead of 17*7. Please let me know if anyone already did : )

The TE rims will fit on the SR5/LE. It would probably be a lot nicer to have two sets of rims as well, makes switching out the snow tires easier.

My vote: Blizzaks (although I've heard good things about the ipikes) on 17x7.5 steelies, or spring for some nicer alloys :banana:

I just did some search on the forum and find out those 18' 4th gen limited rims. they said the rims are 18*7.5 and will fit the 5th gen

live in Anchorage,Alaska and just got the first snow this year today (the way to late!!)
