Hey guys, my wife and I are going to purchase a 2nd gen Sequoia for the new family vehicle. Family is growing and the runner just isn't cutting it anymore size wise.
I am looking at model years 2010-2014. Platinum model.
Is there a dedicated sequoia forum out there that is GTG like T4R?
My wife test drove a 2010 today and when turning sharply in 4HI she heard a high pitched squealing.
She didn't have much time for the test drive as it was her lunch break, but she also couldn't get it to go into 4L. She tried once and it just kept blinking, didn't have time to try again.
I wasn't there so just wanted to see if anyone had any input on this, or if someone could direct me to a Sequoia specific forum that I might have luck with.
There are a few online forums for sequoias, but I thought maybe someone here would have info on which may be best.
Also, just looking for info in general on what to look for with these vehicles in used condition, I am not very familiar with them to be honest, but I do like that they are seemingly a bigger version of the 4runner.
The ones I've driven so far are comfortable for a gentleman of my size and overall I am impressed.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
