Questions on future Sport purchase

Hey all,

Just joined, made my "intro" post in the Newbie forum and now have my first question. I'm planning on buying a 03-06 4Runner soon and have researched to the point where I've made the following "wish list" (and hopefully it will turn into a "reality list"):

Sport model (want the XREAS, leather wheel, bigger brakes as I will do some towing).

NO sunroof. I know this will make it more difficult but I just can't fit in one with otherwise.

V8 - yeah baby!

Otherwise, my preferences are for leather, no 3rd seat and power seats. I haven't researched enough to know what other major option decisions I need to make but if anyone has suggestions, I'll take 'em. So now a few questions:

1. As hard as it will be to find a Sport without sunroof and a V8, is it possible to find one with leather?
   
2. If I find one with cloth seats, will they be power (on the Sport)?
   
3. I saw where someone posted that there is a legroom issue with the power seats; is that correct? I need all the legroom and headroom I can get (6' 5").
   
4. I also saw where someone implied that a 4Runner from the factory with the 3rd row seat would NOT have a sunroof, is that correct? If so, I'd take a 3rd row (assuming I can pull it out).
   
5. Does a Sport model have a tilt/telescoping wheel?

Thanks for all your help! I did do a lot of searching but couldn't quite find definitive answers to my questions.

Im 6'8" and split evenly. Legs/Torso. I fabbed up the seat brackets to allow more space and i love it now. I have the sunroof and leather/power seats. I have TONS of room now. My hair hits when i need to get a haircut but thats minor.

That's a pretty reasonable fab to get some extra room. I would think it would put your eyes lower on the windshield as well? That would be a double bonus as you tend to look out then windshield rather high when you're tall.

Just one question, it looks like you only modify the front, is that correct? One thing I can't stand is if I'm driving with a feeling that I'm "sliding" forward in the seat which is the affect I think I'd feel if the front of the seat were lowered and not the back. On my Ford Focus, the power seat does raise/lower the seat but when you get it too low it starts to lower the front only (at least it feels that way) so I can only lower it half-way. Thankfully lots of headroom even with a sunroof so I don't need to lower it all the way.

I only lowered the rear mounts. So im leaning back in the seat with my knees higher than my waist. So its like im on a nice couch. My view dropped from the top of the windshield to about the center.

Mine does have tilt and telescoping steering wheel.
