Questions to those of you that have been to Paragon Adventure Park

I was wondering what you thought of this place and what level trails you did. There is a Group Ride in November and I was thinkin about signing up. I was thinking Level 1 Trails since it was my first time going. To those that have done it, are they fun? Or should i go to level 2? My off-roading experience consists of driving on the beach and thats about it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey dude, i went to paragon in the winter of 2000... I was in my 1971 FJ-40, locked/lifted and what not... i went with about 25 jeeps that day.. i just ended up chatting online with one of the guys and they didn't care about dumb jeep/toyota stuff... anyway, the trails there were wicked.. they have the softy trails, but they have some bad@$$ trails too... i ended up breaking a birfield, popping out the side of one tire from tree limbs on the ground... but there was snow everywhere too, so that had to add to my damage.. overall, i had a great time.. i went riding for 2 days....

if i am correct, paragon is owned by a couple of lawyers and they pay this trail boss dude to drive you around on some trails.. but as you mentioned, you have to go where the group goes...

it's cool to go their.. just be careful about tree limbs extending over the road and scratching up your ride.... have fun... let me know what you think if you go... :bigok:

I've ridden dirtbikes at Paragon several times, and it is a fantastic facility. I would guess the level 1 stuff is mainly fire road type trails. Talk to the organizer of the ride before you go. They should be able to tell you exactly what your vehicle is capable of and won't let you get in over your head. There is every kind of obstacle at Paragon - DEEP water crossings (up to the seat on my bike), tons of rocks, crazy steep trails - we actually saw a Land Rover Disco flipped over (end over end) while we were coming down a really tough section. It's a really fun place!
