Quick fuel pump question LOOK

So guys, this morning when i tried to go to work, my truck didnt start. My sister took me to my work and I got my truck towed up here. (work in a shop)
Banged on the bottom of my tank and my truck fired right up.

The golden question is since my truck has been running for no problem and had this one problem with the fuel pump. Can I drive it for a couple days until I can afford to do the pump? Or will it die on me while driving?

Maybe just carry a rubber mallet in the truck. Aside from that, none of the T4R wizards here can predict whether or not it will die.

If the pump is running you should be fine. But yeah, take a rubbet mallet in case you need to smack-start it haha. Good truck for a stuck starter too (use a metal hammer gently for that application)

Use specifically an denso fuel pump if you can. My post below has photos of how to change out the pump... slightly different however on the pre-01 4runners.
