Quick question before I re-torque front suspention parts..

Currently doing some experiments through trial and error to investigate an intermittent vibration between 70 and 80mph. I want to go through all major areas and check the torque of my lift, and other bolts that might be loose.

I want to check my cam bolt torque on the LCA.

If I tighten them, won't it mess up my alignment? Or will that remain the same?

It’s not really a concern unless you move the cams.

It’s good practice to use a paint pen to mark them beforehand. Make the stripe on the cam, contunuing on the frame. You will be able to observe any rotation.

If you find the LCA bolts weren’t close to their 133ft-lb torque, I’d get an alignment afterward.

If torquing the through bolt moves the cams, they were loose already and your alignment is already shot.

ETA: You're in the NE, so I would bet money the cams won't move, as they should be permanently rusted in place by now.
