Where can you find a 1" body lift just by itself to buy for the 5th gen? Toytec offers an option of a 1" body lift that you can add to your purchase of a full lift kit.
Sorry if this should be in a different section

Nobody that I have heard of has done a body lift on a 5th Gen 4Runner. A body lift is just spacers of course for the eight body mounts and they are in the same place as the 4th Gens.

There are so many other things, especially up front in the engine bay ,to consider though that are connected to the body and the frame that come into play.Like the steering linkage,ac lines, fan shroud, fuel lines, wiring harnesses and the list goes on.

I'm sure somebody will eventually do it but a 1/2 inch body lift would be easier to try first to see what's all involved.

If you get ahold of Roger Brown and send him the right measurements, he will make you one. I put on a Roger Brown (4crawler offroad) 2" Body Lift with a 3" suspension lift on my 3rd gen and I had zero issues with it. It was also very easy to put on.

Heres a link to what you have to do in order for him to make you a body lift for the 5th gen. I'm sure many people would benefit from your work.

Edit...

I've also talked to the guys over at Toytec about this. They can easily make one for the 5th gen as well. I was going to use my 4runner as kind of a test fit, but I decided that I didn't need anymore lift.
