Quick tire fitment question

Hi guys, sorry, I know this questions has been answered in the past but I want to make 100% sure.

I have a 2006 SR5 V6 T4R with the Daystar 2.5/1.5 kit, and I want to run some 255/75R17 tires (either on stock of FJ rims, haven't decided yet). I'm not going to have rubbing issues right? The suspension sticky (thanks Arc_swamp_rider) states that those tires are fine, just want to make sure.....

Looking at either Hankook Dynapro ATMs or Goodyear Duratecs. Opinions?

im running 255/70/18(same size tire) without lift at the moment and have no rubbing. its on stock 18's and fender liners were moved for trails. on road i didnt even have to move the fender liners. hope this helps. dont know about other rims but if any rubbing it cant be bad

Common size. Many of us have run that size over the years with no issues. Alignment settings will dictate whether you keep or lose your front mud flaps

As others have said, you'll be fine. I ran that size with only a 1.5" lift on the front, stock rear. Had no rubbing until I added wheel spacers, then some minor trimming and removed the front mud flaps.

Regarding tires, the Dynapro ATM's are the worst tires I have had. They were great the first 5-10k miles but then performance went downhill fast. I switched to Duratracs and have been very impressed. Between those two, no comparison I'd go with Duratracs.

I have an 06 with a daystar 2.5/1.5 w/255/75/17 - the tires are destination AT's so not as aggressive as the duratracs but you can check out my "build" thread if you want to see some bad cell phone pics

I had to push the fender liner forward and I removed the front mud flaps. It took about 15 minutes and as others have mentioned, there are many write-ups on this site about how to do so.
