I've noticed people love following less than a cars length away in stop n go traffic.
And if your in crazy town traffic people will dart into that car length space if it's there. Pays to have a beater for crazy town commute to work.

I agree. Distracted driving is a cause of a lot of domino accidents that I see on the roads it concerns me when i see people coming down I 70 and texting doing 85. It definately is a safety issue.
 
What horn did you put on there? Trying to find something louder for all the idiots that cut me off. Then again I think a train horn might work better.

They are hellahorns/hellatones. I have them on my rig. They’re pretty loud tbh.
Edit: The stock connection connects to the horn and you just have to ground it. I grounded it to the bolt that hold the horn in place. (Remove paint from the bolt, if its painted, to get a better ground connection.

Ignorant indeed. OP corrected me saying that wasn't the case, and I've no reason to doubt him.

Panic stops can be avoided by following at a safe distance. I hadn't considered the possibility of fraud actually. Certainly a possibility, but again following at a safe distance and paying full attention can go a long ways to reducing the likelihood of fraudulent brake checks. Just watch any "brake check compilation" on YouTube; those who immediately back off tend to escape unscathed, while those take it personally and ride the ass of the fraudster tend to get suckered into an accident.

I had the Cadi 4-notes on my Land Cruiser. Sound cool, but not nearly as effective as the Supertones that replaced them. Also, they can block a large part of your radiator unless creatively installed.

Looking back on the situation I blame myself, knowing there were things that I could have done differently. And maybe my T4R would still be on the road. But what can I say, sh*t happens.

On a side note, going after the insurance settlement comes through to check out a '03 4runner.

03 is first model year, might I suggest 05 and up. VVTI engine and a few more "better" cosmetic tweaks (projectors might be 06). I mean the choice is yours and obvious get what you can afford.

Yep. Where I commute in Sacramento the exit I take has a fender bender almost every day. People follow so close to each other so as not to have anyone cut them off. Miss your brake for 0.5 seconds and you're slammed into the car in front of you.

Driving skills and common sense is a rarity.
